Information We Collect

At Pfitt, we collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account as either a trainer or client, and when you use our workout tracking services.

• Account registration information (name, email, user type)
• Workout data created by trainers and completed by clients
• Progress tracking and performance metrics
• Subscription and billing information for trainers
• App usage and interaction data

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Enable trainers to create and assign workouts to their clients
• Allow clients to complete workouts and track their progress
• Provide progress analytics and insights to both trainers and clients
• Process subscription payments for trainers
• Maintain and improve our workout tracking platform
• Provide customer support when needed

Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored using Firebase, Google's cloud-based platform that provides enterprise-grade security and reliability. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Important: We do not sell, distribute, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your workout data, progress information, and personal details remain private and are used solely to provide our fitness tracking services.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as your account exists. While your account is active we retain your profile, workout plans, logged workouts, progress history, food diary, weight and step logs, chat messages, chat photos and videos, and (for trainers) subscription and payment records, because the service cannot work without them.

When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by asking us), we permanently delete your Firebase Authentication account and all of the data above from our systems, including chat photos and videos stored in Google Cloud Storage and Cloudflare R2. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If a trainer removes a client who has never signed in, that client's placeholder account and data are deleted the same way.

• Payment records: eSewa, our payment provider, keeps its own record of each transaction under its privacy policy; we cannot delete those.
• Crash and usage diagnostics: anonymised crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) are retained by Google for a limited period, at most 90 days for crash data and 14 months for analytics events, and then deleted automatically.

We do not retain any user data beyond these purposes and periods.

• Access and update your account information
• View all your workout data and progress history
• Delete your account and associated data at any time
• Cancel or modify your subscription (trainers only)
• Request a copy of your personal data
• Control who can access your workout information
